PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

We are fast approaching the end of this academic year with many sporting activities during recess and lunch times. T-Ball tournament for Grade 4 to 6 students and soccer for Foundation to Grade 3 students continues with lots of fun. Besides them, the skipping rope club initiated this term has attracted many primary students thanks to Miss Victoria Casonato. We are also organising our Fun Run for today, in the afternoon, and we will share the moments with you in the following newsletter.

From time to time we find students’ uniforms around the school and often there is no name written on them. So we place them in the lost and found box, looking for their owners. To avoid this, I urge all parents to make sure that students write their names on their belongings, including their stationary and uniforms. It is important that your child is aware of the value of these items.

I also would like to take this opportunity to remind you of our Foundation class Graduation ceremony at school on Friday, December 1st and Award Ceremony and Grade 6 Graduation at the G.V. Hotel on Tuesday, December 5th. We would be delighted to see you there to celebrate every single one of our students’ successes, and to have an ending to the year with a meal and presentations.

As the term ends soon, I urge all of our students to work hard for the final assessments. I believe there is no substitution for hard work and students who do will be successful sooner or later in their lives.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Adem Engin
Principal
